Tekken 8 Patch 2.05: Fixing Visual Bugs and Refining Character Identity
United Gaming –Tekken 8 has just rolled out its latest patch, version 2.05—and it’s not your usual balance update. This time, developers addressed a quirky visual bug and fine-tuned one beloved character’s model.
After the Beach Fun Pack DLC dropped, players noticed something odd. All female characters started to look strangely similar—especially in the chest area. The bug flattened their unique designs, assigning them identical bust sizes in skimpy outfits. Thankfully, this patch restores each character’s intended proportions.
Asuka fans had long voiced concerns. Compared to previous games, her neck, shoulders, and arms looked unusually large. Producer Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that visual adjustments have started. In this patch, only Asuka’s neck has been tweaked. Further updates will follow, done cautiously to avoid breaking in-game models.
Beyond visuals, version 2.05 introduces a subtle but powerful feature. Ranked mode now displays your opponent’s win rate per character. This insight offers a strategic advantage for those aiming to climb the leaderboard.
Fans appreciate the fixes. Character authenticity matters in a game as iconic as Tekken. This update signals the devs are listening, balancing aesthetics with gameplay.
