United Gaming – CD Projekt Red has officially rolled out Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 on July 17, 2025, introducing a slew of new features and quality-of-life improvements for players. The update is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with releases for Nintendo Switch 2 and Mac coming soon.
The highlight of Update 2.3 is the new AutoDrive feature, allowing vehicles to navigate to your selected destination autonomously. These AI-driven cars follow traffic rules and even stop automatically if an attack occurs.
“We wanted to enhance immersion and make travel more seamless,” said a CD Projekt Red developer.
With AutoDrive, players can now relax and enjoy the stunning futuristic cityscape of Night City without the hassle of manual driving.
In addition, the Delamain autonomous taxi service is now fully integrated into the game. Players can access fast travel with ease, bypassing traffic or vehicle shortages. The update also introduces four new vehicles, unlocked through side quests—one of which is a customizable motorcycle.
“Exploring the city should feel effortless and fun,” added the development team.
Photo Mode now lets players pose with 27 new NPCs, including fan favorites like Rita Wheeler and the Cassel brothers. You can tweak weather, time of day, NPC outfits, and even add your own color filters.
Meanwhile, CrystalCoat™ technology allows full vehicle paint customization based on brand, including motorcycles.
“We want players to express their unique style through their vehicles,” said the developers.
