Canto IX Pushes the House of Spiders Toward Collapse
Canto IX: The Unsevering expands the tragedy surrounding the House of Spiders. During Operation Spider Pyre, Rien and Kira are confirmed dead. Rien suddenly takes his own life, while Kira falls under LCE control and later dies. At the same time, Limbus Company and Wayfarer Company secure the surrounding Corridors. They investigate Backdoor procedures and try to prevent rival groups from entering. The weakened organization also attracts the attention of the Fauvist Students, who want to seize Callisto’s artwork. Although Ryōshū no longer belongs to the House of Spiders, she remains in danger.
